The maintenance is is horrible, 2 weeks to come fix something important like a refrigerator. The maintenance also has been slacking on the pool as it is mid-summer and still is closed. There also has been trash throughout my building, the parking lot, and yards that is ignored by maintenance.

After living here for a year, I feel confident in writing a review. It's really great for the price. I came from out of state for Murray State and got an apartment when COVID hit and I was tired of being sent home. Pros: 1. It being pre-furnished was so helpful for this reason, I have a small car and packing is hard enough without having to move a bed, etc. 2. Maintenance responds quickly, all of the appliances work fine, and you can adjust your thermostat to your preferences. 3. I loved my large functional window and the balcony. The electric bill is usually cheap too. 4. With the roommate set up, I didn't know anyone that wasn't graduating already so it was set up for me. I met three people I liked a lot here, and one of them became my best friend. I should say, on an side but important note, if you struggle to breathe with the presence of weed, be sure to mention that in your application, there are several weed smokers and weed smoke carries easily through the vents between apartments and especially between rooms. It's a harder problem to fix than prevent so bring it up if you're the lucky person that knew you had a health issue with that before you moved in. 5. The LOCATION! It flooded in the area at one point and it flooded so bad that the cars down the hill at the other apartments were ruined, and we were so lucky to face no damage because we are at the top of the hill. Walmart, Kroger is practically just down the street, and the school is only a few minutes away. Really my only complaints would be about my room's paint and the very thin walls. The thin wall problem isn't something that can really be fixed, but keep that in mind when you move in, be considerate of your roommates (who can hear just about everything you're doing and maybe saying so be nice to them and wear headphones) and even anyone in the kitchen or upstairs/downstairs. A more fixable problem is that my room is several non-matching color of beige. It's very clear people messed up the walls and someone did a very rushed job of fixing it, with small to large blotches of noticeably different colored paint on every wall of the room (I'd post pictures, but since it's beige it's hard to really show in a picture). Minutes before I arrived on move in day people came into my room to paint over where I guess someone had a curtain rod and ripped it out of the wall but I can see exactly where the rushed fixing job was. Even my door was taped and scraped enough to ruin the paint all over on the inside (I just went ahead and fixed that problem myself). I was desperate in the pandemic to be close to my school and my significant other, so I looked over these flaws, but the paint can be an eyesore if you don't have a poster or something to throw over it, and there were hole patch jobs that really would have been nice to have been done before I moved in. Overall, I would recommend the place. Location and price is great for what you get, I don't regret moving here.

Kind of frustrating that I’m paying full price for rent when I can’t even use a single one of the amenities but my apartment itself is pretty nice so I guess I can’t complain too much.

Trash piled up in front of 311A front door almost daily. Raccoons eat out of their trash. Play party music until 4AM all the time. Birds build nest in dryer duck work and no one cares. Have paid sons rent for four months at a time and they harass me saying the bill is not paid. When I confront them with a date the check was cashed they always seem to find it suddenly. The dumpster in front of the complex is overflowing and smells like a dump.
