We have been here a few times! Our wait time has been very quick! The office and nurse staff have been great! We love that you can get medication from their pharmacy on the spot ! That helps tremendously if youre sick and need to get meds on board! While we will continue to use this facility, Dr. Yamraj can be a tad different.. he will come in as if you have the plaque. Not getting near you unless necessary. His bedside manner needs some improvement, but hes always listened and got us taking of care of quickly! I recommend Baptist Urgent Care! Love their tree thats decorated for each holiday!!

I went here the other night and saw Dr. Bhawan Yamraj for a bump I had on my eye causing it to swell up. He told me it was a medical emergency and that I would have to go to the ER to prevent it from turning into an infection. When asked about this infection, he responded saying I could "just go look it up." I felt very dismissed and as if he was rushing me out of there. When I arrived at the ER, they told me my eye issue was very mild and all I needed were some antibiotics. I've always loved Baptist Health, but would highly encourage going to a different location. The doctor at the Baptist Health Urgent Care/ER on Blankenbaker was much more empathetic, informative, and helpful.

Recently I was bitten by my cat and the bite became infected over the course of several days. I decided to visit Baptist Hospitals new Urgent Care Center on Breckenridge Lane where I saw Dr. Bhawan Yamraj. The exact date of the bite was uncertain to me but Dr. Yamraj pressed me for the exact date and I just didnt recall exactly when the bite happened and he became frustrated, impatient and increasingly rude. The doctor grew impatient at my lack of precise recollection, which made me feel nervous and on the spot. He spoke hastily in a condescending manner, which suggested I was wasting his time, which made me feel more anxious. He interrupted me mid-sentence several times. I have anxiety/ panic attacks frequently, which is on my chart with Baptist Hospital. He should have at least seemed empathetic and reassuring. My immune system is medically suppressed due to having a kidney transplant. Dr. Yamraj told me to call and ask my specialist if I could safely take augmentin and rosephin and he darted out of the examination room. Dr. Yamraj should have been aware of adverse reactions as a doctor. My specialists assistant assured me that the antibiotic was safe. I stepped out of the examination room to tell Doctor Yamraj that my specialist approved the safe use of augmentin and rosephin but he would not take my word that my specialist approved the use of augmentin and rosephin. He wanted to speak to my specialist in person, immediately. In the meantime Dr. Yamraj walked to his office and left me in the examination room again. In the meantime I hurriedly called my specialists office again. At this point I was visibly shaken. I managed to contact my specialists office and I put my phone on speakerphone so Dr. Yamraj could verify what I told him. After the visit I was nervous and I had an anxiety attack when I got to my car. I carefully drove home. It has been two days since I saw Dr. Bhawan Yamraj at the Baptist Hospital Urgent Care Center on Breckenridge Lane and I am still nervous, anxious and uncertain about my care. Avoid seeing Dr. Bhawan Yamraj. I believe the doctor should have been evaluated more thoroughly before seeing patients under Baptist Hospital.
