Council on Developmental Disabilities

This organization is for everyone in the special-needs community, every age group- self advocacy, parent/guardian support. They are the experts, I can say first hand that the one on one support youll find here is amazing, if you have an issue, you will find understanding and answers at The Council. If you want to help support others, or just be a part of a beautiful community, the family outreach there is wonderful. If youre interested in learning more about intellectual disabilities or advocacy, whether its for yourself, a friend or loved one or as a community advocate- this is your spot.

A remarkable organization dedicated to assisting the disabled community of Louisville. I refer clients to the Council, and have sought out advice for my own son - highly recommend!! I also volunteer my time to help the Council as Treasurer - giving back a small portion of time to help such a great organization.
