Im 59 Dr Puno has been my Dr for years ive had a total of 9 surgeries with some being done at Kosair as a child Dr Puno is far most the Best of the best i take zero pain meds

Dr. Puno and his staff were very polite and friendly. However, there was a 1 1/2 hour delay posted on the whiteboard in the waiting area. I understand that emergencies happen, and appointments run over, but if the staff is aware of such a long delay, it would be nice if they would give their patients a courtesy call so they don't show up at their scheduled appointment time, just to sit in the waiting area for 90 minutes. As it turned out, we were called back after waiting only about an hour, which is still a very long time.

I been a patient since 1997 he has performed 4 back surgeries on me and a bone graph they said by now I would done be in a wheelchair and I would not be able to have kids but thanks to dr.Puno’s great work I’m a proud mother of 6 kids and I’m still walking til this day and look forward to be walking for several more years I wouldn’t never see another spine surgeon dr.puno is great wonderful and I recommend anybody that has back problems to him From Heather Foster

Phenomenal doctor, team, and care!!!! Dr. Puno and his team put me back together like an Indy 500 pit stop!!! I was so scared for the sx but couldn’t live with the pain. I am about 5 yrs post c6 vertebrectomy and C5-7ACDF (crossing fingers) doing fantastic!!! I was extremely concerned with outcomes especially for my voice and swallowing, being a speech pathologist, and the team did a remarkable job!!! It was astonishing how much I felt like my life was given back to me when I woke up in recovery; immediate relief from the excruciating/constant arm pain, feeling started to come back in my finger (perfect now), no dysphagia, no hoarseness, no pain meds at all after post op day 3, and strength is back in my hand. Pre sx I didn’t sleep more than 15 minutes at a time for 2 months due to the pain ( no amount or type of painkiller touched the pain). There are not enough words to thank the kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate Dr. Puno and team!!!! We moved a week after sx and I would travel across the world to get back to Dr. Puno’s care, should I need a revision.
