One of the highlights of our whole trip! We took a 2 hour weaving class and all created something different. The ladies working were so accommodating and kind. I only wish we lived closer and could come regularly. More than worth it to give them a call and set up a tour or class!!

The Little Loomhouse is a real treasure. With roots in the 19th Century, these cabins became home base for the great weaver, textile artist and folklorist Lou Tate. Since 1939, when Miss Tate acquired the site, the Little Loomhouse has been a magnet for visitors and users of all ages...including Eleanor Roosevelt, Frank Lloyd Wright and many others. Lovingly maintained and preserved.
