        A great doctor for our whole family. Many people do not know he can treat both adults and children, saving us time and the effort of finding a separate pediatrician. Plus, he doesnt rush your visit and really takes the time to know you and care about your issues. Will call you with concerns and info if needed.

        Always a great experience. I never wait very long. He is very down to earth. And always thorough. I would recommend him to more people I know, but he is always backed up. But when I have needed them to they have squeezed me in, even if that meant he had to stay late.

      Robert G. Hammer, M.D., earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, and his medical degree from the University of Louisville. He completed a combined internal medicine and pediatric residency from the Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Hammer is a member of the Greater Louisville Medical Society and the Kentucky Medical Association. A native of Louisville, Dr. Hammer enjoys golfing, running and doing crossword puzzles in his spare time.
