Was very pleased with my time spent at Leatherman. Treated cordially by Bren Hines and Dr. Gum. Took the time to discuss my concerns and make a plan that best addresses my needs. I am thankful to be a patient here.

This is the first time I have ever left a bad review for ANYTHING. I have had 4 surgeries with Dr Gum at Norton Leatherman Spine. I love Dr Gum! He is always done an outstanding job. But unfortunately, I have to have another surgery on my spine and my experience with Norton's staff has led me to go elsewhere. Trying to get medical records is a joke. Trying to get someone to call you back, or test results, ...it's a joke. I have literally spent hours on the phone this week because of a simple medical records request. The request just gets pushed aside and ignored until I call them and ask them again. And again...and again...  It just doesn't get done. I've asked for a supervisor to call me back and nobody will call back. I hate to leave Dr. Gum, but I spend much more time dealing with the staff then the actual doctor and I refuse to continue to go through this.  So my advise would be to go elsewhere. I have an appointment with a different doctor at Goodman & Campbell Brain & Spine and my experience with them so far has already been exceptional. BYE BYE NORTON!

Very disappointed with Leatherman. After two appointments I never saw a doctor, only physicians assistants. Neither one examined me or really questioned me about my symptoms, nor did they suggested a possible diagnosis. Their only recommendation was to pass me off to a pain clinic not associated with Leatherman for possible shots. Don't waste your money or your time on them.

Please tell me how to send a direct message? I've called the office. That's who denied my referral. They don't care about you unless you need surgery. Otherwise, you're useless to them. I called to to get a referral to see a neurologist for botox for my scoliosis. Was told since it caused his pain that I needed to ask my orthopedic doctor. Orthopedic doctor said hip pain was caused by scoliosis so it's a scoliosis problem.... Leatherman said no. Anyways, Louisville really needs better options than Leatherman for scoliosis. I'm happy to hear any recommendations.
