I can't give enough stars for Louisville Dive Center!! I've wanted to get into scuba diving for some time, ever since a vacation when I tried it years ago. Finally came around to it last year. I did my basic certification through LDC in October '22, and everything about that experience was positive. Starting with getting the initial equipment the staff was very knowledgeable and discussed many of the features and each of the options for the gear. When receiving the training for the basic cert, the dive instructors were extremely accommodating. Shoutout to instructors Damien and Tommy! Immediately after receiving my basic certification, I put it to use when visiting CA. I felt as if I was very prepared and learned everything I needed to know when I was on the dive charter, and I felt very comfortable in the water with the skills learned. Now I am trying to do as much diving as I can! LDC organizes a ton of trips - I am very excited to be joining them to the Caymen Islands next month. Shoutout to Nic for some great organization and pre-trip communication! They have a few others planned throughout the year I am also interested in. I hooked myself up with all the equipment needs the other week all through LDC, and they hooked me up as well. When making the purchase, shoutout to Ashley for going into such great detail over all of the equipment options! I was able to swap some kit accessories for other needs, and LDC was very flexible with the package to make sure I was totally all set (I couldn't get the right size booties for myself, and they let me take home 3 different pairs until I got it right). The care they showed to make sure I was all good was top notch. AND THEN - they gave me times when they were doing some pool training with some new classes, and I got to slide in just to test and learn all my new gear. This has been a great learning process. Every time I speak with Ashley in the store I think I have learned something new about either my gear, or general diving techniques. This place LOVES diving. So if you want to learn, this is the place to go. Or if you're already certified and want to dive more, this is the place to go. Get in on some of these trips and explore!!!
