Do not go to this dentist! I'm sorry if medicare tells you this place is an option, but just go downtown or something. The hygienists are nice, but this guy is a sham and you can tell he paid his way through school instead of doing any studying. After failing to see any of the previous fillings I already had, he proceeded to give me the worst fillings of my entire life. Tried to tell me my jaw issue was a wisdom tooth issue, and when I went to an oral surgeon of my choice (not his) the surgeon told me wisdom tooth removal wasn't even recommended due to them being under bone. Worst most impersonal dentist I've ever gone to.

Edit: There is a new sheriff in town and Dr McAlpin is GREAT! I have had a terrible experience and I want to share so that perhaps this dentist can learn from his mistake. I had a tooth extracted on Friday. Everything seemed fine until Monday morning when I woke up terribly swollen and in excruciating pain. I called and said that I felt something wasn't right. Without even getting on the phone he had the receptionist give me a messge that everything was 'normal.' I knew it wasn't. I called again Tuesday and they agreed to see me Wednesday. By the tiime I got there they took one look at me and sent me to an oral surgeon where (at my expense) I had to have a drain inserted into my gum and the infection drained from my sinus cavity. If I had been given an antibiotic on Monday when I called and said something was wrong the first time, this may have been avoided. Lesson: Doctors, do not "dismiss" your patient's concerns.
