I reached out to EACM to get help for Nov. Past due rent. While I'm waiting for my disability checks to start. I was told they're only helping people who are current in rent(help paying the upcoming month), not a family desperate and behind so we don't get evicted. I told her I understand, then I reached out to 30 churches for donations. FYI churches only work with ministries. Each church told me over and over I had to call EACM (which would not help us). I had a few tell me they would help but EACM would have to except the donations on my behalf. I had $900 raised, I asked Heather if they could except the donations on my behalf and I'll pick it up from them. I DID ALL THE WORK, I got an email that said " they only help people that go through the "screening process ". Then says "sorry we can't assist you". So who does, I thought that's what the ministry was suppose to do, help people who need emergency rent assistance. Heather didn't tell me how to get help or how to go through the "screening process" so I can get help. So I ask again, WHO HELPS ME IF THE MINISTRY I AM SUPPOSE TO GO THROUGH WON'T HELP ME?

This is the food pantry I take my son, who is an Air Force Vet, to get food for himself. They treat him with the utmost respect. He received a buggy full of food. The folks were awesome.
