If I could give truist bank 0 stars I would give it because the truth is that it deserves it. In terms of my experience it is the worst, 3 months ago I complained about an overdraw of my account and to date I have not received any notification, I call them and The answer varies depending on who is assisting me, calls to customer service can easily take 1 hour, my recommendation is that you do not deposit your money in this bank, it is not pleasant to go through my situation, feeling that practically They steal from you and they are not capable of doing anything, if I could or had the resources I would sue them without any problem

Today, my father attempted to get a cashier check from the local Louisville KY branch, he had his ID and his debit card and they asked him for his account number and the last deposit into the account. I went to my own bank and provided the same cards and I had no issue. For him, he didn't know this, so in attempt to get the cashier check, he went back and got his check book with this information and returned to the bank to get the cashier check and was told he couldn't "today because he got the questions wrong and had to come back tomorrow". Whay does tomorrkw change? Nothing, it's still him and the same presented information. This is absolutely ridiculous. What's the point of personal identification if that is not enough to verify his information. I am so embarrassed and frustrated for my father in his attempt to do something nice for me and he was blocked in both his attempts and wasted his time even returning to the bank for the second time. Do better in terms of your customer service.

worst service from a bank! i recently wanted to open a new accnt and went to truist as they were closer to my place (no other reason). opened the accnt, gave our details and came back home and was waiting for my card . the card was supposed to arrive in 5-7 business days. but didn't arrive even after a month. called cust service and they told me that its gonna take another 5-7 business days. asked them to give me expedited delivery as i as charged for acccnt maintenance . they did nothing, kept telling that unfortunately i am a new accnt holder and that they cant offer me a solution for their mistake and that i have to pay $30 for expedited service.i mean who charges $30 for shipping?? it was clearly a mistake opening an accnt with this bank and im gonna cancel my account with this bank who doesnt care about their customer's money!
