        I have volunteered here several times and the place is always clean and smells nice. The caregivers seem to really care about the residents and anticipate their needs. The activities are always interesting and have a huge crowd and the residents seem happy and content.

        I worked for Morning Pointe at the personal care building during COVID and came back to run the memory care building this year. I believe in the mission of the company and look forward to providing my residents with a meaningful day. It has been a privilege to see the positive changes that are happening in this building daily. The director team is full of compassionate and passionate individuals who truly strive to provide the best life for the residents. From activities, care, food, and building upkeep, this community and the heart you feel is unmatched in Louisville.

        I have worked at the Lantern for just over 4 years. My favorite thing about my job is getting to know each resident personally and earning their trust so I can better care for them. I also love getting to know their families! In this community, we are one big family! I have the most amazing and compassionate coworkers. We all work together for the same goal, making each day as fulfilling and meaningful as we can for our residents. Our kitchen strives to keep them full on all their favorites, which they have input on, everyday. Activities keeps them engaged and moving while nursing/caretaking gives them all the love!
