        If you truly love your elderly folks you don't want them to live in this apartment building! Most of the windows leak. The building is infested with mice and roaches and bed bugs! Another thing the plumbing is an absolute nightmare! I know it has electrical issues too. If you want to know how I know all of this, I lived there for 10 years! HUD is supposed to inspect this building. Why have they not made Capital Realities/Properties make the necessary repairs? This building is for the disabled and the elderly and we shouldn't have to live in these conditions. In my opinion this building should be condemned!

        I did a service for American Village and got rid of there rodents and they canceled my service and still as of today never has paid me for the service I provided in September. I reached out to Sandrea Coats several times as well as showed up to her office and she refused to give me information on who I needed to call to get paid for the service I provided.

        My brother John has lived here for quite some time. He no longer lives there he passed away this weekend November 2022. This place does not care about anybody his whole outside of his door was saturated with pesticides enough to kill him this place is a joke it needs to be shut down they do not care about anybody that lives there

        Contrary to other reviews I believe that American village apartments is a very nice place to live The staff is wonderful kind and caring. when we have a problem, they listen and do something about it. I have lived here for two years and I love it here. My mother has lived here for 16 years and she loves it. And before that my grandmother lived here for 10 years until she had to be put in a nursing. and she loved it here too. The maintenance Zach and Tyler are excellent and our housekeeper Trixie she works really hard management is excellent. our RSC Jennifer its very helpful on paperwork and things that needs to be done Its an all-around good place to live for seniors and disabled people

      The ownership is in process of renovating and updating the property and the apartments. We are working with all tenants to handle all issues professionally and timely.
