I AM A CLIENT THERE NOW AT ACTIVE DAY THE STAFF AND DRIVERS ARE HELPFUL TO US ESPECIALLY TIFFANY , ELISIA, MARCELLA,,WANDA,,,VISNJA,,TOSHA,,ANTONIO,,PATRICK,,JACKIE THE BUS DRIVERS SUPERVISOR THEY CARE ABOUT US CLIENTS TRUST ME I KNOW THAT I GOT FRIENDS THERE WHO ARE LIKE FAMILY WE TALK,, PLAY GAMES,,MAKE CRAFTS ,,ETC.THANK U FORBEING OPEN FOR US TO GO DURING THE DAY ESPECIALLY DURING THE COV19 THEY ARE HERE FOR US THEY CARE ABOUT US DURNING THE GOOD DAYS AND BAD DAYS PLEASE TAKE A CHANCE OUT THERE TO SEE WHAT ACTIVEDAY HIKES POINT CAN DO FOR U THEY GOT COUNSELORS THERE THAT CARE FOR US......THEY GIVE US BREAKFAST AND LUNCH THERE MONDAY THRU FRIDAY THE GROUPS HELP US AS WELL....I AM NOT LYING....

The most horrible employment experience I've ever had. Went on Monday for interview. When I came in contact with the Supv. the first conversation was "oh" ok and he started explaining the job to me and took me to the vehicle and explained everything and asked me to come in to shadow one of his drivers. I let him know I will be there the next day and asked what time? He told me 5:30 a.m. I was there at 5:15 a m. When I got in the building, he came out of his and said, same thing as day before "oh"? He walked past me with gesture for me to follow him, as I did outside. He then asked did I get his email he sent sometime on Monday. I said no, because I had no reason to check my email, because it was a deal set for me to be there that morning. When I looked, it read what he was telling me at the same time...that he had others come in after me, were a better fit and he couldn't use me. That's all well and good. He said, he wondered why I never responded to his email...I feel like it was very unprofessional for him not make a simple phone call to let me know this, if he got no response from me, so I wouldn't waste my time and gas. I let him know day one, "I don't like surprises"! And he wonders why he have a large turnover in employees as he does. He did know that I have longevity on the jobs I work. His loss.

I have a lot of friends both members and staff but I am afraid of some like one staff member who saw me have a reaction then shook her head no and walked away from me during the health condition. I would eat lunch if I only got the food I eat on my plate and not the food I don't eat. I would like to see other people besides Paul call out winning numbers on bingo because of his loud voice. I have a high school diploma and know elementary math taught there. I was at 2 hospitals in the last 2 weeks and I had paperwork that had things to watch out for when I am around but no one wanted to read my release papers. There are a lot of people who ask about me like Janet and Shirley and more who's names I don't know. Music and talking with others are what makes me feel better while there.
