Had a very informative and fun time at the farm. Going to try my hand at growing mushrooms. I've been studying on health benefits of mushrooms, also can't wait to try different kinds for flavoring or substituting foods. Forgot to get some of the hickory syrup, but will get that very soon.

I use the Hickory bourbon Vanilla syrup in all of my apple baking recipes exclusively now. IF you haven't tried this in apple pie or dumplings you don't yet know what you have been missing! I'll NEVER go back to baking without it! As a matter of fact need some more !

Super helpful and friendly. I've purchased several animals from them and they are always happy to provide guidance and knowledge to help as I go along, even if that means they send me in a different direction or to someone else. I trust their word and in this age, that's a huge thing!

Bought a Pig from them. Not only is the pig a quality breed, but they are very knowledgeable about how to do things right. They helped talk me through the set up and what things not to do. They answered probably hundreds of questions before I picked up my first pig and after 3 months, the pig is happy and healthy. Would definitely recommend!

Recently had lamb from Hansens Harvest and cant say enough about quality of the meat and the folks that run the farm. Price was right and farm raised makes all the difference. Delicious!
