I brought in my kitten, Madison to be seen because she was sick. When I first walked in, a girl that I presume worked behind the desk, looked me up and down and gave me a dirty look, so right off the bat, things were starting off rocky. I overlooked that, and regarding my cat's care, they seemed to do everything they were supposed to, but at one point, the vet came in the room and told me that my kitty had "flea dirt" She went so far as to take a special comb and show me said flea dirt. I felt like a child being scolded. They didn't even find any actual fleas on her, but nevertheless, I was judged by the vet and the vet tech. I was shocked at the snotty demeanor over this. No animal parent enjoys feeling judged. She isn't an outside cat and all the other cats have been treated for fleas, she is still a kitten so that's why I hadn't treated her yet, but that didn't prevent the attitude I received. As I was leaving, I got my keys out as that is where my credit card is, my keychain is basically a wallet, so I was getting my wallet out because I needed to pay. The vet tech acted very leery as if she thought I was going to run out without paying And was giving me clear instructions on where to pay, as if I was a freaking idiot. The overall snotty demeanor of three different women: vet, vet tech, and the girl as I was walking in, is enough for me to know that I will never give this place another dime of my money. I will say that John who was working the desk, was so very polite, polite and concerned on the phone when making the appt., very polite when checking in, and very polite when making a follow-up call to check on my girl. The people at vet office need to take some cues from John and realize that caring for animals should not be their only concern, treating humans with respect is also a must. Cats and dogs don't have pocketbooks I would also like to add another issue I have with them. At one point, they checked Madison for dehydration by pinching her skin. She was in fact, dehydrated. I had told them upon checking in that she wasn't eating and drinking so this wasn't a surprise to me...but the way the vet and vet tech exchanged glances with this "clutching their pearls demeanor" was something else. I. Told. Them. She. Wasn't. Drinking. Just pointing out another way in which I felt judged. As if I can make my cat drink water or something. These ladies are uppity, judgmental snots. Just a heads up to anyone who may be reading this. They also sent me home with a flea treatment that was required to wear Medical gloves. Who has Medical gloves at home? I guess they were too lazy to take 60 seconds out of their day to apply it. I have used flea treatment on my animals dozens upon dozens of times and never have I dealt with flea treatment like the stuff they sent home with me. It got all over my hands and wouldn't come off no matter how many times I washed them. They sent the cheapest, most toxic flea treatment home with me, but they charged the maximum price for it. It's a racket. I have never been more diaappointed in a vet's office in my life
