      Captain D's

      At our Lexington, KY location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

      image Delicious food. Terrific service from the lady running like crazy and doing virtually everything. Pretty bad from the fellow taking orders who obviously didn't want to be there. But the food was sooooo good - especially the fried okra!!!

      image We got food last night, and the only thing that was decent was the chicken. The fries, shrimp, and hush puppies were soaked in grease and were soggy, and the fish tasted horrible, like it had gone bad. My son has been sick all morning. Please teach your employees how to do their jobs and stop cooking bad fish and soaking everything in grease.
