Sphinx Academy Private School

I can't say enough good things about The Sphinx Academy. It is small and very accommodating to each individual student's learning style. The communication is excellent, with weekly parent reports and easy access between student and teacher. The electives are designed around student input which helps create a motivated learners, and the core curricula is on par other high schools. The Aviation STEM Program is a highlight as well! The staff goes above and beyond to help students realize their potential and achieve their goals. They way they have handled Covid -19 has been stellar. By following the CDC guidelines, they put health and safety first; clearly communicating expectations and concerns to students and parents. I am so thankful a friend referred us to Sphinx. I highly recommend this school.

Sphinx Academy is by far the best school I have attended. They have helped me when I was transition from another state and helped finish my junior year with good grades after not doing well from schooling during the Pandemic. The goal oriented and smallness of the school make the environment very welcoming and comforting. They are also very accommodating and helpful with keeping me on track. There is not enough praise I can give for Sphinx!

Sphinx Academy is a small school with a BIG impact! My son attended Sphinx for all 4 years of high school and graduated in May with a terrific GPA and high ACT score, despite debilitating ADD and learning disabilities that have plagued him since elementary school. Highest praise goes to his learning coach - a mentor who guided and encouraged him every day, even during the COVID shut-down when it was hardest for schools to stay connected with students. Without Sphinx I'm not sure my son would have made it through 4 years of high school!

The investment and attention I receive from this school has allowed me to flourish educationally. The community is safe and has let me to make friends throughout the years since 6th grade. This is the best school I could've attended, and an extremely good fit for my needs.

Sphinx is one of the best schools any student can attend. It brings the best in our kids. Besides the customized education that fits the needs and interests of each student, it is a safe place for our children to be who they are and who they are meant to be. The Socratic discussions encourages them to become thinkers, to ask the difficult questions and practice being respectful to those of opposing views. There is not a place that is more accepting and welcoming to all students. The Staff is dedicated and work extremely hard to prepare each student not only for their future higher education but for life in a complex world. My children benefited greatly by attending this school. I accredit their success and well rounded-ness to their experience at Sphinx. I highly recommend this school to any student.
