Just moved to the area and was THRILLED to see a local spot like this in walking distance.  (We need more of this!). Space is adorable; parking is limited but so what, it is most everywhere else too.  Not much of a selection though, which was disappointing.  Enough missing from the shelves/fridge/freezer that I asked if they were shutting down.  What I did see was primarily local, which is fabulous.  Hope this issue improves and I will definitely be back to try again.

Owner contacted/responded to argue that people were so willing to pay his huge price increases... guess I was right!  They are going out of business.

This place is a sweet and local grocery with delicious meats and produce. The reason I didn't give five stars?????  Well, they shut down last week for a few days to reorganize, train staff, and introduce new management...  I visited this morning to pick up somethings for the weekend. The meat case was literally empty?  The woman at the meat counter said the butcher was away for the weekend and they had sold out of everything. The freezer was also very low. I was there at around 9:30 in the morning !  They open at 9am.   The woman at the checkout counter said they are very short staffed, that is why they are out of everything.  If it were Sunday, I would understand, my fault, but Saturday on a long weekend, no. This is peak grocery gathering time.  They are missing the opportunity of business. I hope to see better planning for this place in the future. Truly, I love this little grocery and I want it to be around for a long time!!!  If you visit and they have their bacon burgers and Sunrise buns, it is a must!  Also, the country ham is delicious.
