DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR HOME AND REFUSE TO FIX ANYTHING. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
Our apartment complex noticed that the construction company had forgotten to install a fire sprinkler when building our home, in order to meet fire code of the city they contacted Brown Sprinkler Corporation.
On January 7, 2020 brown sprinkler came into our home. After about 30 minutes into the work they had noticed that they had come unprepared for the job as they did not have the parts needed to complete the installation. They had advised me that they would be "right back" so they could see if they had a part. After about 45 minutes they had come back to complete the work. Less than 2 minutes after their return they had flooded our home damaging everything in the living room and master bedroom.
It appears they did not follow proper procedure while completing the work as the system still had water inside of the pipes.
Over the next several hours and days I was hounded by the district manager, and several contractors to have our home restored to how it was before this company came into our home.
Because of how demanding this company was with the aftermath of the incident I was unable to work for 3 days. They expected me at their beck and call and had no respect for my time when trying to get the work done.
When it came to paying for anything, it was pulling teeth. We had to pay for 2 nights at a hotel which they never reimbursed us for. They agreed to pay for 1 night and got upset when a Servpro told me that I would need to stay there another night. Brown sprinkler demanded we vacate the hotel in 10 minutes (the hotel could not extend checkout any further and we have a dog and my fiancee was at work, it wasn't possible to pack everything and get out in time). Because we were unable to do so they came to the hotel and refused to pay and made a scene.
All of the damaged items inside of the apartment they refused to pay to have fixed. We had to file a claim with our insurance to have anything covered. (Our rates are now going to go up)
We have on our Ring camera a recording of their employee saying that they didn't know what they were doing and because they couldn't get ahold of someone they just did the work anyway.
Weeks later they came back to try to do more work and did not notify us. They just showed up and expected us to be home. This company is a joke!
