Love love love this place. My oldest two started here and now my youngest two are enrolled. They treat you like family and truly care about our children. Highly recommended.

Tot's Landing is not a learning center. They don't follow any kind of curriculum. No real lesson plans, it is a rare teacher in that center that DOES follow lesson plans. Furthermore, they force kids to sit in a corner of the room and watch Barney for well over the recommended two hours of the time they are there. State regulations state T.V. time is limited and should be a part of a lesson plan. The staff sits in the other corner and discusses the "benders" they are going to go on. The kids are FORCED to sit in a corner and do this with no other alternatives. When I say forced, the bookshelves are rearranged to make a little "corral" for the children.  You bring it to the Director's attention and they dismiss it as not credible, saying Barney is educational....The kids deserve better than that. There should be alternatives for children who cannot or do not want to sit and watch Barney.They do not properly sign out children at the end of the day and I have seen rooms be over ratio on more than one occasion. I have seen staff cuss in front of kids (in public settings, never at the center) and even had one former teacher call my own child "mildly retarded". This kid is in the gifted and talented program at his school. The caliber of the staff they hire is severely lacking. Most of the time, the staff are fighting over the "lead" teacher positions. Wish they could see they are all co-teachers looking after children.The directors do not take suggestions for how to improve this with any amount of credulity. I wouldn't send my child to this daycare if it were the only one open in the United States.

My son was 3.5 when he started this daycare-he had always come to work with me so I was worried about how he would do. These ladies are amazing! Miss Helen and Miss Aaliyah(sp?) have been wonderful to him! He has learned so much in just the month and a half hes been there! He always comes home saying something new and singing a new song! We are very pleased!!
