Truist is a huge downgrade from BB&T. Everything is more complicated than it used to be, there are fees that never existed before, and avoid ever needing help after hours, because email customer support is now unavailable, chat support is an automated bot that never lets you get to a real person, and phone support is outsourced to foreign call centers and just tells you to call your branch once it's open. Even the local branch part is a problem, because they also closed my local branch, so now I have to go clear downtown if I want to visit a branch. We'll be moving our accounts to a different bank soon because it's just one headache after another with Truist now.

I've been banking with BB&T for about 5 years now and have had excellent experiences with all their representatives and branches. But today, Michelle at the Sir Barton branch was a true life saver! Thank you Michelle!!!
