I hope this review finds others wishing for a honest and professional service well as Im wishing to elaborate on my experience. My vehicle, while parked was struck by a tent at a local restaurant in Lexington. It was consequently turned over to their respective insurance company with whom hired David with PDA appraisal services. In the meantime, I have received not (1) but (2) separate certified statements from Cadillac stating 800J(Pearl TriCoat) paint is very difficult if not impossible to match on a vehicle 4-5 years old with Mica in the paint weighing in on the age again of the vehicle while all along being exposed to sun and weather making the distinct color and variances of this at time of factory painting. In turn, this so called appraiser, David comes to my home with an evident agenda at hand. Perhaps upset I requested late because I do work during the day as he arrives at 6:00pm. No badge was shown although he did wear a mask. Very rude and unprofessional says it best by the insurances very own field representative instructed me to show him both statements from Cadillac. I done that all the while David not having it likewise brushing it off while not even reading through it. His arrogance was so overwhelming that he threw in that hed done body work for over 20+ years and it could and would be fixed identifying several pearl paints along the way. I said to him then why isnt he still doing body work if he was that good as Im confident to know the prior employer wouldnt have let him go knowing this alone that he was so valuable even if he owned the place. Whats best is the estimate he wrote with some nice remarks about me, the very own insurance company that hired him has reported this up to their claims manager for higher ups to see. I think its evidently quite funny as this gentleman tried his best to get back at me when I think it backfired. Just for reference, the insurance company was in awe of this as well and theyre sending another company out discarding this appraisers prior work here. I have also notified my local independent agency that deals with the same insurance and going thru their channels to report as well. So no, I most certainly do not recommend this appraisal service owned by David out of Lexington Kentucky. Thank-you!
