Tates Creek Village Apartments

Do not live here. There is a hidden lease lock fee that they will say is an option, but it is not. If you want to leave your lease, they expect an additional $1800. Management never responds to requests. My neighbor's check was billed to the wrong apartment by management, and they tried to evict my neighbor, giving them only seven days to move. My other neighbor has only received two pages of their lease. Management does not respond, and they do leave early. My property on the porch was damaged by maintenance. The water is never hot and the heating and ac is unpredictable. Do not waste your time. Oh look they replied finally. Is this the best way to reach you? I have been calling and emailing everywhere I could find to reach anyone in management about these things. So should we just talk here?

Dont become a contractor for them I painted 2 apartments and never got paid had to put lien on building another contractor for them didnt get paid either. Update: Called several times no answer, thats what I expected. There is no need for me to call all you have to do is call county attorney and check the lien I put on the property and pay it.

Worst rental experience I've ever had. The buildings are barely insulated at all, leading to the most extreme electric bills I've ever seen, and the pipes freeze constantly in the winter. The water bills are also absurdly expensive and it's turned off all the time so they can maintain the boilers and fix constantly leaking lines. In our unit a slow leak lead to part of our ceiling falling in. We called the emergency line, left a voicemail, sent three emails, and submitted two work orders. It still took about 6 weeks for maintenance to respond in any way. The grounds are dirty and not consistently mowed. And finally, we were meant to receive a refund on the remaining days in the month we moved out, an amount around $1000. We never received the check and upon attempting to contact both the property and their ownership, were completely ignored. Highly recommend you avoid this place. Update: I emailed the address provided in the reply comment they posted. That was 25 days ago. Have not gotten a response at all. Their response to my review is simply a lazy attempt to appear to the public as though they care about rectifying issues. I don't think they ever had any intention of giving me my money back.

Management is horrible!! You can never find anyone in the office during office hours, nobody communicates with you via email or over the phone. I got in a financial situation where I was a little late and she told me she would work with me then sent me an eviction notice. I feel like maintenance request are looked at every other month or something because thats how long it takes to repair things for example (my dishwasher) which has completely clogged my sink..

Lived here for a year. Terrible communication with the office. The only good thing about this place was their maintenance team but other than that no communication. I received a letter from a debt collector in regards to them. I kept my app three months after I moved out to see if I would have any outstanding payments and never heard of anything owed until now. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I emailed as they asked after they responded 2 weeks ago so they will help me and NEVER got a response.... The reviews on this place are so true. They don't care.
