As I sit here, in my apartment drinking my coffee, alone, I am stuck reflecting on my journey through this program. I would have loved to rate this place a 5, all the different therapies and the staff I thought I had great relationships with... After multiple attempts to have me not contact someone (that I will admit had been toxic in my life), no contact, not able to talk about him in a group setting, brain spotting therapy (form of hypnosis therapy if you will), and the one that would be most effective... Allowing him to also be a participant... I was involved in every service that was offered, and I had one month left... However, because they allowed my significant other in the program and I then spent time with him (I had even mentioned to my peer support and a therapist that I wasn't sure if it was against policy or not, and neither of the people I spoke with about it said it was an issue in response). I continued to spend time with him until I showed up at the facility and was told to speak with the clinical director who let me know I was no longer welcome. What do I know though... I was only a participant,I should have done better... Thanks for letting me get that off my chest, now I need to get to my job.

A lot of Recovery places motive is to get you in there for your money. This is not the case at Roaring Brook. Every single person genuinely cares about your recovery. I would not be sober today without their help. I highly recommend this place if your serious about to getting sober.

I went through Roaring Brooks IOP program and it changed my life so much. The staff is absolutely AMAZING. They are like family to me today. They offer so many services and are there for you even after hours! I highly recommend this place if you are struggling with addiction or mental health. They are the best in the entire bluegrass area!!
