This was our second stay, first time was three years ago. It was just as charming and Cherie was still the incredible host that we remembered. She is an incredible cook, and even had some fun activities for our children. We hope that it will not be another three years before we return!

Main Street Bed and Breakfast was a great experience for my wife and two boys. This over 200 year old house is quaint and like walking into a historic place. With many of its original features the home feels like you are taking part in its unique history. This was our first time in a B&B and I was nervous, since I am a shy person and staying in someones house while they serve me is a strange feeling. Cherie was able to make my family feel at home and comfortable. It is more like staying with a family member and Cherie was helpful in all of our time there. I do have to be honest because I think reviews matter. There is a lot of noise that goes along with this stay. The road outside is noisy and loud, but I never cared because it was not the fault of this historic home. It wasnt designed to block out the noise of rumbling motorcycles and semi trucks driving through town. The floor creaks a lot, but its the original flooring in the house. I chose to view all of these negatives as really a positive. We are staying in a house that has history in its floorboards and brick walls. Now we are a part of it too. So dont come to Main Street Bed and Breakfast expecting the Ritz Carlton. Expect a welcoming and friendly host who shares her historic home and all of its character with you. B&Bs are places to experience, hotels are for sleeping.
