Incompetence at every level. No returned calls or emails. Complaining on Google reviews does nothing people. Email your state representatives in the Senate and House with your stories. Maybe write your local news too. Im doing that right now

I have been trying to transfer my hours from Ohio to Kentucky to take Kentuckys state board exam. It has been a month since I submit a transfer form and contacted them the first time. Since then, I have been calling, emailing, and leaving messages pretty much every day now. You cant even talk to an actual person on the phone?? I have not gotten a single response from anyone and Im getting very frustrated.

I could write a book. I've been in this industry for almost 20 years and slowly but surely our licenses and the validity of our profession is in jeopardy. First they did away with CEU's and apprenticeships which helps new graduates. Then cut down the certification hours from 1500 to 1800, legalized braiding without at least requiring that a certification in sanitation be taken. Now we no longer need an independent contractor's license to operate as a booth renters. The website is still not user friendly, poor communication, no accountability and now this new confusion with our licenses. Many still have not received theirs. This is problematic and is setting many up to fail or not succeed as a small business. Something needs to change.
