        Had a great lunch at The Brown Barrel! The food selection was surprisingly diverse. I had the Grouper Fingers and they were great! My friends' food looked equally delicious as well. The food we had was great and served hot and fast. Service was great and very friendly. The environment was very comfortable and appealing. It definitely invites you in and you find you want to stay, hang around, and chat with friends. It's a nice eatery alternative to add to Frankfort that we most definitely needed!

        The food was great, had the fish and chips, made reservations so got seated immediately, service was prompt and attentive. This was our first time and we will most definitely be back again!

        So while staying in Frankfort, KY to go to Buffalo Trace Distillery, we were ready for dinner but couldnt decide. I tend to be the indecisive one. So my husband decided to drive downtown, which was a walk from our hotel, but my feet were hurting from all the walking. He pulled into the first restaurant parking lot we came to. To our surprise.it was a great choice. We sat on the bar side, theres a restaurant side as well. My husband ordered the Fish & Chipsfor not being a seafood restaurant, the cod was DELICIOUS! Perfect! The salad was also a winner. Definitely recommend if youre in town visiting. Kid-friendliness: Two sides - restaurant side and bar side
