    I have never in my life given a bad review, however I feel it is necessary in this case in order to save someone else from the constant frustration. There have been many irritating and unprofessional incidents that have occurred while under the care of this office for 3 years, but today's unpleasant occurrence was the tipping point that propelled me to call and change our primary doctor provider. We have a 9am telehealth appointment that i made yesterday with the office. My phone number was confirmed by the receptionist before hanging up because the telehealth link would be coming to my phone. I took my son out of school for this appointment because he has 3 days of medication left ( did not know medicine needed a new prescription until i called CVS to check on pick up. Said they had sent 3 messages to doctor). My son and i wait in front of the phone from 9-9:10, until i call to check on appointment status stating i hadn't gotten phone call yet. Was told doctor is behind and i will get text soon. Confirm my phone number with them...hang up. Call again at 9:45 and am told doctor still behind. Again...i confirm my number. Get an email at 9:49 telling us the doctor will be ready soon and to join the meeting...but there was no link. So i call and explain to receptionist, am put on hold for 5 minutes. She comes back and states that my insurance was not updated and therefore the appointment was canceled. The same insurance i called and updated changes on the month prior for my other son. This receptionist was very sweet and apologetic and updated my insurance ( again) stating she would then transfer me to the front desk to solve the problem. I was transferred to cardiology. Had to call offices back again. I was then transferred to the office lead named Pam, who in a nutshell told me that I was now over an hour after my appointment time then blamed it on me saying i gave them the wrong phone number ( remember i confirmed phone number 3 x with staff prior). She then said she would ask C.Means if she would still see us. I was put on hold then she returned and said C.Means did not want to continue appointment because it has been a year since she has seen my son. Please be aware that if you choose this office as a primary care facility, you will never be seen for your appointment on time, and when things go awry it will always be blamed on you.

    Dr. FUQUA IS WONDERFUL, HIS STAFF IS NOT. THERE IS NO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEM. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM.

    Needed a second opinion on an EKG I had done. I scheduled an apt with Dr. Fuqua and just recieved a bill for $300. I chose the wrong profession! All he did was take my blood pressure and tell me my heart rate was normal. It says on the bill im being charged for 30-39 min of service. I was there a total of 30 min & 27 min of that was sitting alone in a room. Highway robbery if you ask me

    Since Baptist East became part of this office, it's terrible. You cannot get in to see a doctor. I've been sick for almost three weeks. A week and a half ago I saw Angela Langford who is a PA. She's completely useless. Insisted I have a covid-19 test, which I knew would be negative. She would not listen to me about my body and told me I have allergy issues. She gave me stayhist, prednisone, and cough syrup none of which have helped. I called today to get an appointment and was told it would be 12 more days before I could be seen. Dr. Fuqua has been my doctor for almost 7 years, but I can't get in to see him. I think it's time to find a different doctor. If you are looking for a doctor's office where you can actually be seen, this is not the one.
