        Whitney Stith is awesome! We usually do our taxes ourselves, but I went on SSDI in 2023. I received back pay for 2022 and part of 2021. As a result, I also had to repay the LTD insurance company. I was highly concerned we would owe a lot of taxes, but I had no idea how to proceed. Whitney had the experience needed to handle the situation. In addition to preparing and submitting our federal and state returns within a day of getting all our tax documents, he also got us a refund! We were so impressed with the expediency and the results. We highly recommend Stith Linke & Associates!

Whitney always cares about how you are doing every year I see him. The staff at the office is top notch. They always answer all my many questions and this firm has saved me thousands in taxes.         Warning: they charge separately for an extension. They don't consider it a courtesy to their clients to file the extension for free even though it is free to file an extension yourself. They don't include it in the bill when you pay your taxes either. Julie said that whoever took our payment missed the fact that we were charged for an extension, so they had to send us a separate invoice months later.

      We are sorry you weren't aware of this fee. We do normally bill for the extension in the month we do the work. So there should have been a bill in April. It takes about a week of a staff members time to file all "courtesy" extensions, so we feel this is a cost that needs billed to our customers. We do post a sign every year in March-April to make sure the clients are aware of this fee. Was there an issue with the tax return or any other service you were given that caused this 1 star review? Any of the partners would be glad to address those issues with you.
