Baptist Health Urgent Care - Ring Road

I have been here only once and I am disappointed in the care from a provider here. The problem isnt the staff, they were couteous, only that I had been seen for pelvic discomfort and the provider stated that she wouldnt prescribe anything because I had normal flora in my urinary tract. Turns out that I had cystitis. When I went to my pcp he prescribed something and my symptoms improved. She (bambi) disregarded MY input about MY body and prolonged my distress. I take my health and wellness seriously and care about others in this community to write a review.

Spent less than a half hour total at the clinic, and while the staff were awesome, Ill never be back because they saddled me with a $300 bill. After disputing the bill- especially the itemized part that said 45-59 minute doctor visit, considering I saw a Physicians Assistant for no longer than 3 minutes- I was told there was nothing to be done because thats just how they bill things. Dont come here unless youre prepared to pay way more than necessary, even with insurance

Have had to go twice in last month. Both times, checked in quickly, then triage, didn't wait long for provider to assess problems. First time, it took about 2 hours (had to wait for xray) and second time 2nd about an hour (was swabbed for flu, covid & strep). Both providers were understanding & explained their diagnosis'; both were courteous. Will go there again if doc can't work me in.
