As a Social Worker I referred a particularly hard case of a mother needing emergency mental health treatment. Dr. Rhodes prioritized the care plan with the immediate need of trusted, safe childcare, so his patient could be hospitalized. He is a great listener with all the right questions; his kind & calm demeanor set the tone and direction for trust and open exchange. Highly recommend.

I have been family doctor in private practice for over 40 years. I have been referring to Dr. Rollin Rhodes, for about that same time, patients who needed help with counseling and sometimes with diagnosis. Dr. Rhodes is the best psychologist I have ever used. He is good with straightforward problems and also very complex ones. He communicates with me and he is a marvelous communicator with the patients. I am so glad he is still in practice because he is an important resource for my practice and has been for almost 40 years. I never worked with a better counselor psychologist and I hope he continues to stay in practice for a long time.

Last year I was really struggling with depression and anxiety. My son recommended that rather than depend on medication that I try therapy. He felt that Dr Rhodes could help me. Over the course of several months Dr. Rhodes guided me toward self-discovery of a terrible traumatic experience that had greatly affected my life. My repression of this trauma had caused serious problems in my personal life. Once the trauma was exposed, discussed, and analyzed, then Dr. Rhodes took me through the steps of healing. It was not easy for me to admit how this long ago trauma had eventually controlled my present life. Neither was it simple to figure out how I was going to move forward. Dr Rhodes helped me find my way. Week after week I read the materials he gave me to read, recorded situations with my family and opened myself up to honest self-criticism. Dr Rhodes might have been frustrated that I was so slow to make changes in my life and interactions with others, but he never gave up on me. His diligent encouragement resulted in a major change in my life experiences and thoughts. My family was immediately aware of the changes in my personality.and were amazed. Today I can deal with so many issues that shattered me before. I am happy to be with my family and more importantly, they are happy to be with me. I know that Dr. Rhodes is there for me whenever I have a new challenge. I was diagnosed with cancer recently and Dr. Rhodes is consistently checking with me to make sure I am doing alright. Thank you Dr. Rhodes, for turning my life around.
