ROOMS: old and need to be updated. Only the floors looked new. The bathroom vent didn't work. You noticed that the ventilation smelled bad once you walked into the room. The bed linen had stains and had to be replaced. SERVICE: They were kind and nice, but not so professional. I'm not your friend. We can be friendly, but I am paying for a service. LOCATION: The skyline view (from the 17th floor) was amazing but the view right below it (which you can't help see) was a mixture of hotels and other old and dirty commercial buildings next to a brown river. The night view is a lot better! Loud trains coming through day and night. Also, keep your head on a swivel in this neighborhood. RESTAURANT: Great service & Great food in the lobby lounge and the rooftop restaurant. We loved the revolving room. Overall, I would only come back for the rooftop restaurant and the view, but not to stay overnight. Radisson has to step its room game up. I'm spoiled by Embassy Suites.

This Radisson is an older hotel and apparently very iconic for the area. When walking into the lobby you can just tell that it's an older hotel. While the layout of things and the area where you could just sit and take a load off for a few minutes, we're nice looking. There were things like door to the left of the desk that was repaired and never painted to fix it as well as stains on the carpets. We were put on the 17th floor which is the highest room floor below the revolving restaurant. In the elevator, you notice pretty quickly that most of the covers to the buttons are broken and cracked. Our room was just a few steps from the elevator which worried me for the noise level. However, it was very clever that they planned for this by having an exterior door that could be shut that led to the two rooms behind it. Giving you two noise buffer layers. We didn't really hear too much the entire time we were there. One of the first things I saw in the room was the air conditioning/heating unit, since the room was stifling and we had to get the air conditioner turned on. Part of the cover to the unit was actually melted. After a little while of struggling to figure out why nothing would turn on with the buttons to the actual unit, I noticed that there was a wall control on the opposite side of the room to control it, which thankfully did work and wasn't melted. There were a multitude what I can only guess were water spots along the ceiling. The room was dingy from age. We were very excited about having the balcony and we spent a little while out there throughout our visit, just looking around. However, it was a bit scary that there was a chunk of concrete missing from the support for the restaurant above us. That was just not something to inspire confidence in the structural integrity of the hotel. We thought it would be fun to do the revolving restaurant for dinner. However the menu showed that they did not have very many choices and most of it was steak. So unfortunately we didn't get to experience that. The staff overall was great! The folks at the desk helped me at every turn, even going out of their way to obtain something for me that I needed in my room. I needed some more water bottles, and some cleaning staff was cleaning the room next to mine. I asked them if they happen to have any on their cart to which they said no but they would go get me some. I told her that it wasn't necessary that I could go myself, but I appreciated the offer! About 7 minutes later there was a knock on my door. She had had to go downstairs for something else so she brought me water back up with her! You have to really appreciate service like that!

Past its time. Other guests werehow do you say trashy without saying trashy? Smoking right outside every door, yelling at each other, loud children everywhere, and garbage strewn about. Room was ok but we had to air it out; the chemical smell was so strong, bathroom vent didnt work. Staff was kind, we chose this place as we were desperate for a swim- they offered to let us linger in the pool after close as it took a while to check in because we booked on 3rd party site. Pool was open to 11pm. The 10 screaming kids had no plans on leaving before 11pm. The pool was not nice. Full of loud children, murky water, strong chlorine smell and broken lights in the pool. We chose not to stay long. Looks cool from the outside-fun shape & lights. Nice view of the brown river, maybe nicer with leaves?

The restaurant is the best thing going for this place along with the view. The hotel is mediocre at best with terrible customer service. To start there were no towels in our room but since its something easily fixed it wasnt a big deal. The building probably needs a safety check because the ceiling above the balcony had a hole that looked like it was about to fall through. After we left, I accidentally forgot an item in the bathroom of my room and realized the same day and had to call back 4 different times within 3 days to be told they couldnt find it. I was given the runaround multiple times by someone who wouldnt even be bothered to take my information to call me back. I was finally told they only keep lost items for 3 days anyway. Well thats nice and convenient maybe if you wouldve checked the first time I called it couldve been avoided! I even asked for management and they tried to avoid passing it to someone who probably wouldve actually handled it properly on day 1! Do better!
