Cincy Gutter Boys

Called to schedule gutter cleaning and was told I would get a call 24-48 hours beforehand to schedule based on the weather. Weeks went by and I received an email with the invoice. Apparently, they came out to my house and I never knew! I had some areas of concern, but I never had a chance to speak to anyone. No one called before or after to let me know the work was completed. I only received an invoice. Clearly, money was the only priority. When I questioned the person on the phone about whether they even came out he sent me pictues. I said I probably wouldn't use their services again because of the lack of communication and he basically said "Ok, bye then".

Cincy Gutter Boys came out to my home in January 2024 to give me a quote on a gutter repair. I confirmed I wanted to move forward with the quote, and the person told me on the phone they would contact me a day before the service would be done. I heard nothing from them for weeks, and when I finally called to check on it in April 2024, the company had merged (been acquired?) by Ned's Home and "lost" my record. I never received any communication about this change, although the new person on the phone said I should have. The person also repeatedly told me they had "purchased Cincy Gutter Boys customers" and would not have access to previous records (What?! How does that even make sense?) It was escalated to someone who finally "found" my record, told me Cincy Gutter Boys really shouldn't have taken the job anyway because they don't do that, and recommend a different company. Absolutely no compensation was offered for their lapse in record keeping - they told me I was at the mercy of the new company if they would like to offer anything for the ordeal. (And why would they? It's certainly not their fault.) It's a shame - this is not my first time hiring Cincy Gutter Boys, but the poor customer service will make it my last. It doesn't seem like this merge with Ned's Home is a good change. Some more accountability should have been taken in this situation.

The service performed by George and NH was 5+ star. Its a messy job and they cleaned everything up well and the gutter cleaning was excellent. The phone team quoting the work is the reason for the 4 star. The call quoting people default to the cheapest approach and ask to get it scheduled. I had to keep asking what does this include, then what other options are there before we had a mutual understanding and matched expectations. There are a few a la carte services that I thought would be part of a typical cleaning. Overall my experience was pretty good and George and NH did a fantastic job
