Union Savings Bank

Our insurance claim was initiated in November 2023. Upon receiving the insurance check, the insurance company included our mortgage company's name. Despite our efforts in reaching out to Dave Torbeck's in the construction department on January 26th, we've received no assistance or customer service as of today, March 8th. Despite fulfilling numerous insane requests and jumping through hoops, including paying for repairs out of pocket (more than $60,000.00), providing banking screenshots and multiple receipts, and even allowing a house walkthrough by the bank, we're still unable to cash our insurance check. We're told they need to review the inspection before authorizing the bank to endorse the check. At every turn, Torbeck has made this process unnecessarily complicated.Please think carefully before considering Union Savings Bank for a mortgage, as they deliberately create obstacles.

This location is only a loan officer. It's a representative of the bank but not a bank itself.

Thank you for cutting out 2 hours before your scheduled closing time. Also isnt a bank just a mortgage lending office. Waste of time and gas. Thank you union saving bank phone rep for sending me here.

I'm giving this bank 5 stars because I jut had an average banking experience there and after reading other ratings I realized these people have to put up with ridiculous cry babies all the time and for that they get 5 stars.

If I could I'd give it 0.1 stars. AWFUL customer service, I received 3 different answers which lead to my mortgage payment being late. Nobody was apologetic for the fact that I was upset and that they now caused me to have a late fee. They can see in the last 4.5 years I never missed a payment and always paid extra. I am incredible furious. Do NOT use this bank. No one knew any answers.
