Terrible experience and terrible staff, I dont think unprofessional describes how bad this place is. Most if not all of the negative reviews you read are spot on about this place, Ive experienced it first hand.

Emergency room no problem, CCU good care, 4th floor C you are on your own. As long as you had visitors you were taken of if you were alone well good luck nobody answers questions and most pass it off on someone else one nurse was exceptionally efficient her name is Ruby. I have an "UNTREATABLE HEART CONDITION and was treated like it was a cold...we will get there when we can. One aid wanted to argue with me and yes I did argue back then came back a couple of days later and tried to start it up again Medically I give them a 2 a couple of the nurses are professional. Most are there for the money. A few of "The aides" need lessons in manners and care DON'T ASSUME THAT YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IS BEING TREATED RESPECTFULLY AND EFFICIENTLY WHEN YOU LEAVE. my stay was almost three weeks and I am worse now than when I went in The Dr's look at you talk at you then see ya would not want to be you. My experience over all was 2 stars A RECENT PATIENT 3/31/24

This place was horrible. My mom was sent here on a ventilator and bc she had covid they gave 1 hr to visit during their 2 hours throughout the day. You could only pick 1 hr. I was driving 2 hours getting hotels on days off work for 1 hour. Then a girl Leslie that worked in icu as a monitor tech was absolutely rude as could be. They seem to always ask us if we knew their policy and we felt it as being asked over and over to get me upset and angered by it. My mom was dying in this place. I finally got transferred to uk and she was off the vent in 2 days. They had lowered her sedation the first day and her eyes was opened. I would never allow any family member to go to this place again. Ive never seen a hospital be the way this one was. The rudeness and my mother dying. I had lost my 44 yo sister to Covid pneumonia in 21 so this was awful feeling with my mom going the same way. No empathy or compassion from a lot of the staff. It was an experience I never want to experience again! A lot of ppl work jobs just for the money and not have the heart they should with their job.

The Emergency Room is a Joke. Expect to wait about 3 plus Hours. I got my appendix taken out. Threatened to garnish wages. Never could contact a follow up appointment, even walking in person they could never guide me. Regardless of phone calls made, it never mattered. During my stay I had a Nurse with multiple years of experience "forget" to give me medication and was asked to leave and then I had another Nurse for the remainder of that time who was helpful. Even 2 years later and phone calls over having pain where the stitches are, they don't care. They just want money. Money money money.

Ill start with the bad. Lani an LPN on the 4th floor, very unprofessional and lacks in her patient care knowledge. Unfortunately, she is caring for mother at her own pace. It was bluntly explained to me today that my mother is her last patient, and will get her meds when she Lani can get to it. That she has other patients that are more critical than my mother who is a cardiac patient. Guess heart medication isnt very urgent. Along with her taking my moms bag of medication that she did not take and doing god knows what with it. As far as good. Ruby nurse on 4th floor, very thorough, respectful, and extremely intelligent with her nursing knowledge.
