Hilton Garden Inn Bowling Green

Excellent pool and hot tub at this hotel. The room was actually quite comfy and had a fair amount of furniture. Rooms are spacious, and the hallway design is interesting. Breakfast is decent but not spectacular. However, that's expected for a Hilton. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is that nothing was overwhelmingly great or next level. However, it is more than good enough for a few nights staying here.

Good breakfast, fresh eggs. I see why they wanted to charge me 14 bucks but hey it was included in the rate! Didn't stop her from trying and even asking for a 30 dollar tip. I kid you not. Got in late checkin on app key on app. Left early to go caving. Good bed and hot shower... Nearby activities: 50 minutes from Mammoth Cave

Honestly, Im quite disappointed. The rooms were in need of actual repair (broken pieces of furniture on the coffee/fridge shelf, dresser is off kilter and top drawer wont stay shut so you bang your leg on it in the dark). The restaurant in the evening was perfect, and Ian the bartender was attentive and kind, but the breakfast service was less than good. $14 for the buffet of overcooked bacon, powdered eggs, and potatoes? Underwhelming, especially considering this hotel is surrounded by other hotel options, this value of breakfast should be included in the stay. The rooms were clean, the indoor pool was a plus, and all of the staff were very friendly.
