        This hotel is the bomb! It is set up a little weird, but the weirdness helps with access to everything. Our room was clean. The hotel smells great down the halls, in the rooms, etc. The staff was amazing too. Ill be adding this hotel to my routes.

        The room and location were great but the staff tried to make us leave before check out time. We stayed there because our daughter had a competition close by so we left in the morning to take her to her competition and when we got back they had already cleaned the room. They assumed that we had left for good and when we got back they told us we needed to leave and it was well before the check out time of 12.

        Nice hotel for a quick stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location was in good proximity to restaurants and such too. Only small gripe is that it seems the patrons bring in a lot of boot/construction site personnel who track a lot of mud/dirt into the common areas. Hotel staff was doing their best to contain it but at least during my stay they seemed to be getting a bit outnumbered.

      Dear Jeff FoxMy name is Darko I'm the manager of Candlewood Suites. I was filled in on what happened that day and I want to start off by apologizing. There was a miscommunication and unfortunately it lead to an unpleasant situation for everyone on an otherwise great weekend for our hotel and everyone staying with us. Our standard procedure is we have a list of checkouts and our housekeepers will check if a room is vacant between 10:30-12 (Unless the do not disturb sign is on the door) and if so they begin the cleaning process. We do this because many people will leave without letting us know and we want to make sure the rooms are ready for the next guests, meaning if they check and there’s no indication such as luggage or personal belongings we go ahead with the checkout process. This usually works very well for us but it simply didn’t this time and for that I apologize. From my understanding you returned just after 11, you are correct checkout is at 12 and normally this is never an issue but on this occasion we dropped the ball. We truly want to provide the absolute best experience for everyone that stays with us so if there’s anything I can do to make it right please reach out to me at 270-843-5505. Thank you
