Historic Boone Tavern Hotel and Restaurant

The historical building is cute. The service was lacking and the room was tiny. The restaurant element was horrible and the food was bland and uninspired. I was there for 3 days with meals for a convention so this review is not from one bad interaction. This was consistent throughout my entire stay. Rooms: The room was tiny for the price charged. It had a small refrigerator that did not work and no microwave. Food & drinks: I am vegan. They have vegan options on their menu. The wait staff singled me out at almost every meal. The food that I was provided was bland and inspired. Some of the food was not vegan, even after they asked me multiples time to verify I'm vegan. The wait staff didn't clear our tables after our meals.

Delightful! Rooms: Small but very well appointed. Safety: It was such a pleasant location and very safe. Walkability: With more time we could have walked the campus... next time! Food & drinks: Tasty appetizers... wish we would have had time for dinner or breakfast.

Beautiful hotel and tavern. We just visited the inside and outside of the hotel. Very nice decor and old beautiful building. Will go back and stay at this hotel. Safety: Very safe to walk around and visit the hotel outside and inside.
