Nelson County Early Learning Center

I picked up my grandson for the first time today. The line was really long when I got there and I thought "this is going to take forever." As soon as the first two kids were brought out, the others started to follow. The staff were so on top of it. The line moved very quickly. The parents were also on top of it. I was just really impressed on how smooth the process was going. Good job to the staff, and the parents.

My son has gone for 3yr and 4yr program and loves it. Every staff member knows just about every student by name, everyone is friendly and my son has learned so much.

The teachers are absolutely amazing, they have caring hearts and treat my child with care, love , and respect. My child has learned so much at this school. I wouldn't think about taking my children anywhere else.

Great place for preK kids and the staff is Wonderful. My granddaughter loves going to school

It is a wonderful school under normal circumstances. But they handled the pandemic very unprofessionally. I understand they only took 33% capacity. But I wonder who they accepted because I filled the forms out immediately when I got it and I'm an essential worker. I got no response when trying to find out if he was accepted or not. No yes OR no. They simply ignored me. The number there no longer works and nobody would update me or reply to my emails. Very upset with how things were handled. My child was a returning student there. I guess you have to "know somebody". A simple "no, he didn't make the cut" would have been better than the silence which left me unsure and having not been able to secure a babysitter in such short notice, it really put me in an awful position. I mean seriously, they could have just responded!
