I was asked by the family to do their funeral service at Cooper Funeral Home of Alexandria, KY. On arrival, I could not find the funeral director (and no effort being made to find me). I needed to discuss the details of the evening services after the visitation.

I wandered around the funeral home for an extended period of time trying to track down the director. He Was not in his office or lobby or viewing area.

When I did catch him, I received only a bare amount of info. No offer of assistance was made about my needs to serve the family. Also, the information I was given turned out to be somewhat inaccurate.

The room naturally was poorly lighted. In being older, my vision in these situations is poor. The podium had a light on it, but it was clearly broken. No offer to accommodate or remedy the situation was offered. This meant, I struggled to read the obituary and do the service for the family.

I know this time was not about me, but for the family. But, just a little consideration of my needs would have better served the family in this unique time!

Amazing people. our family members have used them my Mother wanted their services and they did a beautiful job. Everything was done with respect and dignity. Very down to earth understanding people. Thats why she chose Coopers.

I can't say enough about how wonderful JD, Makayla, Heather and the rest of the staff treated us. They do go above and beyond for you. Our family has used Cooper for as long as I can remember. But I had to use them myself when I lost my parents 7 weeks apart. And they were right there every step of it. They really do treat you like family. Couldn't think of using any other Funeral home. They are courteous, caring, and utmost professional. Simply the best

They r wonderful ppl. W just had to have my aunt cremated and they r so nice and help us in so many ways that we r going to bring home my aunt then she will be put with her mother forever she shall rest in peace and her other sister is right there also and with the help of Cooper's and I want to thank JD for all help help he did for the family.... Thank u so much..
