MedExpress Urgent Care

I went here because my 6 year son was showing symptoms for Covid and he had been exposed at school. I told the nurse about his exposure to Covid and flu at school she told me that she was going to test him for flu and Covid.. when the doctor came back with the results she only gave me the results for Covid.. I asked about the flu test she didnt have it. The nurse who I first spoke and took the test come back and gave me the worst attitude because SHE forgot! When she attempted to test my son he was scared so I tried to calm him down the nurse kept telling him how much it was going to hurt and how deep she need it to go in his noise once she finally did he end up bleeding!!!! And she laughed!!! Do not take your kids here!!! Worst nurse ever!!!!

Please play closer attention to the ratings that have been given. There is a reason this facility has a 2.6 rating. Bedside manner, willingness to listen to the patient, and overall care is an absolute joke. Please be aware and make plans to visit somewhere else if you actually want to visit with a competent medical professional. Serina Hertel, is an embarrassment to the medical profession.

Everyone at this facility was so amazing! I felt like they cared and were so nice. Qll the ladies i spoke with up front and the doctor were amazing! All around wonderful experience!

I went there this morning because my primary care physician wanted me tested for COVID. I have not been feeling well for 5 days. I didn't mind waiting over 30 min in my car. My blood pressure and oxygen saturation wad taken by a nurse who also swabed my nose. I then was moved to an exam room where I waited approximately 45 min and listened to the ARNP's talking and laughing at the desk. I even heard a female voice tell a patient their test was negative. The ARNP with dark hair came in, told me my test was negative, said she could listen to my chest through my heavy coat, which I doubt then washed her hands and offered me a flue test. I waited another 30 min for that test, which she came in and told handed me a paper saying it was negative and there was nothing she could do for me. She asked me why I looked upset and did I need a note for work. I told her no I didn't work I was retired. I did not tell her I was a retired ARNP and that that she should be ashamed at how she treats her patients. It was not a good experience.

Pulled in the parking lot with a hurt foot and it was full but I got out of there with a X-ray and medical care in 2 and a 1/2 hours which right now is pretty good time anywhere you go. They were also all very nice to work with
