Genesis Health Clubs - North Woodlawn

This location used to be so nice when it was Vasa Since genesis has taken over, the hand dryers are constantly broken, the water fountains dont work at all or are literally hot to drink, the machines are constantly broken, the bench/machine padding are torn and not being replaced in a timely manner just a huge disappointment.

Genesis refuses to allow my cancellation to go through. I cancelled over a year ago when Vasa sold to Genesis. Genesis lost the cancellation and continues to charge my card. Genesis cannot be trusted with your card. Do not go here.

Update May 23, 2023: This has gotten worse, not better. There's enough grime on the floor in the men's locker room that another member decided to write a message to the staff which has been ignored for the last several days (at least). On top of that, the showers (the five that are still working) have been cold for going on three weeks. *** Original review: The cleanliness of the club has gone WAY downhill since Genesis bought out this location. The showers, fountains, toilets, sinks, and common areas seem like they go days at a time without even a wipe down. Vasa always did a decent job with daily cleaning. Genesis doesn't seem to have the same standards. The main reason I keep coming is my membership dues haven't gone up. Yet.
