I had an emergent pet visit and I wasn't a client yet, they worked with me and got me squeezed in. But the reason I chose them over the other vets I called, is because they were so kind and showed concern for my dog when I called.
When I showed up to the office, the staff was amazing and made me feel like my dog was in good hands. Their kindness really went a long way. I will definitely be returning for regular vet visits in the future.

We met Dr. Thayer during our first visit at the Emergency Animal Clinic of Topeka. Within 5 minutes he had earned our trust by being honest and up front about what could be going on with our cat. His care continued to be exceptional and we opted to make Gage Animal Hospital our primary vet. We have received wonderful service. The staff are compassionate and very good at communicating what they find and what is going on. I couldn't imagine trusting anybody else with our sweet babies. The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable and willing to do what it takes to provide excellent care for your pets. I would strongly recommend everyone I know to choose Gage Animal Hospital as their vet.

1st visit today! I have 3 very active dogs that often get injured. My Millie tore her shoulder pretty bad and needed medical attention. I have a hard time getting in with my current vet, they couldnt see her today. I 1st went to Stonehouse, they are closed on Mondays but referred me to Gage.
Gage was booked today as well. Apparently the wonderful receptionist spoke with the doc, called me back and they wanted to see her. We headed over and Paige Bloom promptly got her into surgery. The staff was wonderful! They explained everything, gave me options and went over the individual cost of everything for the procedure. She was hurting and ready to go home but I could tell they treated her with love. She has 2 follow up appointments scheduled and I will be returning with my other dogs.
