        I was scheduled for knee replacement surgery today and the last minute the doctor's office called and cancelled it, because my insurance company had not given the pre-authorization needed. I contacted Kansas Insurance Department, within 30 minutes the doctor's office called and scheduled me for tomorrow. I'm amazed how fast they took care of me.

        My wife and I submitted 2 different complaints through Kansas Insurance Dept. Our forever issues with the insurance companies resolved less than 10 days for both cases. They are the best!

        I work on the Agent side for the consumers and Kansas always does a thorough job of researching and determining findings. Its easy to complain about states/cities and municipalities (they have lots of tape) until you deal with a poor one, I assure you Kansas does a nice job.
