DO NOT TRUST THIS ORGANIZATION EVER. THE GET OFF ON BULLYING YOU AND THEN ABANDONING YOU WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO SELF ADVOCATE. Kip (one of their attorneys) refused to listen to me and fight for me and he chose to abandon me for completely false accusations. I brought my concerns to lane (legal director) who called me a liar and refused to address the issue. They have just abandoned when I am being horribly abused by my IDD service providers the state. Their grievance process is a joke too. Rocky doesnt care about the concerns brought up in the grievance process and always denies every single grievance. My concerns are of no concern to those organization and I cannot afford to pay out of pocket for private legal representation; so, I am entirely dependent on the state p&a. This organization needs to fix there abusive behavior towards their clients and ensure that people like me arent being bullied and abandoned by their staff. Stay away from these criminals if you dont want to be bullied and abandoned.

Wonderful and caring people. I just needed some advice and support and Rocky and Diane Woodard and also Lane were superb at just saying the right thing at the right time. I felt listened to and cared for. I also am inspired by the work they do to relieve people from the bondage of unnecessary guardianship. The work they also do to help free residents from mental health nursing homes is admirable. It's comforting to know that the team at DRC is always working to help alleviate the pain and suffering of those with a disability. There is too much abuse in this area and the staff at DRC truly cares.
