I would like to respond to the other person's post saying this was not the experience I had or that I have seen in hundreds of other students. My experience was opposite of everything he said. I did go to most all other universities in the area and this one was the best fit for me.

Be cautious about attending this school. As soon as you step in and show a little bit of interested, a very pushy enrollment rep will continue to call you and call you until you enroll. Even if you believe this program might not be fit for you, you will be constantly harassed until they have you hooked. The online program is one of the worst I've ever experienced. If you're counting on your refund check to help you pay for books good luck! You won't get that until almost the end of your first class. My instructor neglected to reply to my messages in the online portal. Instead of helping me with an assignment, she just handed me a failing grade for the work I turned in. Wow, thanks. Numerous times I tried to schedule a meeting with "Patty" to help plan out things and make a career path for me. I got nothing but excuses as to why she couldn't simply help me out. When I attended Washburn years ago there was always a dedicated staff who could help their students decide on the future. If they didn't have time for you this week THEY WOULD MAKE TIME on the next one. You would think a university would be there to help their students if they showed signs of struggle. I'm not going to lie, I had a very difficult time trying to keep up with classes and my two jobs. Instead of helping you out, this university will cut you away at the first chance they get. They get to keep your grant money, loans and send you off with a multiple-thousand-dollar bill that you're expected to pay. If you're a freshman student looking at universities to begin at, stay clear away from this one. You are much better off attending a real school such as Washburn, or KU.
