Mount Hope Cemetery, Funeral Chapel & Reception Center

Today my father died, 11-11-66. Fifty seven years ago! How unhappy I was today of days Veterans day that two places in the cemetery had no American flag up. Only the office. You need to do a better job and have the singing tower playing for visitors today?

They steal vases off graves or damage many and will not replace!

Went on Memorial day weekend. They had a info tent outside that I stopped and asked if someone was buried there. The very nice young lady in the info tent couldn't find myperson but said to go inside, because computer might be more up to date than looking at a paper roster. I went inside and asked the lady if she could look someone up for me. She said " didn't they do that outside for you?"I said that they had told me to come inside because computer might be more updated. The lady then said " They need to quit telling people that." After that I told her to forget it at that point because she was so rude. She said " no I want to help you and proceeded to look up my friend. Of course by then she was sickiningly sweet , complemented my dress and told me to have a great memorial day. I have been coming to Mount Hope for years putting flowers on graves and asking for info.. never has anyone been so rude and made me feel like a fool when I was TOLD to go in there. I will never go in to ask for info again.

There Reputation speaks for itself. I was truly impressed with the help they gave my family. We are truly appreciative. But the one thing that I'm not appreciative of is that I was not contacted about the head stone being laid on my fathers grave. and the headstone was missing the S in LUNKINS.
