We initially had a decent experience with Raymond coming out to give an estimate. We agreed on the details of a new privacy fence, and I received an email on 5/24 saying that our fence install was scheduled for 6/26. No communications until 6/22, which was fine because we thought the install would still be on 6/26. On 6/22, we got a text from Raymond saying that he had us on the schedule for 7/5. I called him about how we were on the schedule for 6/26. He tried to blame it on the holiday (Memorial Day at the end of May?), as if it was unforeseen and a scheduled holiday is the reason for work delays. I told him we would let him know if we were still going to use his company or go with someone else. After we hung up, he texted me a few minutes later saying how he believes communication is key and keeping me updated is the right thing to do. I texted him back a few days later to let him know we were going to use someone else because I wasn't satisfied with his communication since we were on the schedule for over a month, but he did not update us that the fence install was being rescheduled until 4 days before they were supposed to start. He said that he completely kept me updated through text messages and emails. I did not receive any texts or calls from him. The only emails I received were the initial estimate and the scheduling email on 5/24. I would not recommend him. There are many options for fencing contractors in the area that are more professional and up-front with scheduling/re-scheduling and keeping customers updated. Service: Privacy fence installation
