        Excellent experience! We spent months trying to find a company to do our concrete work. Time and time again we would get a quote then no one would respond to schedule the work to be done. Communication was wonderful, and the work came out perfect!! So glad we hired Burtons!!

        Burton's did a wonderful job laying a concrete slab that will serve as a basketball court for our kids. Their customer service was phenomenal. They answered all our questions in a timely manner and were remarkably helpful. And the end product looks great. I would not hesitate to use them for future work!

        Our side yard drains toward our house and we had no room to regrade, so hired them to place a sidewalk along the house at trim level to divert water. Cliff said absolutely, he would put it where we needed it, but that did not happen. The sidewalk is several inches below where he agreed to put it, the threshold on our side door is just hanging there with no support, and the majority of the sidewalk is below grade, causing even more drainage issues and more money to repair. They offered no apology, just a lame excuse for why he did not do what he agreed to do, and then complained about having to repair the damage that they caused to our sprinkler line. Nothing was said about the damage that they caused to our overhead garage door while replacing our driveway. The door will have to be replaced at our expense. There were other issues, but out of space to list them here. We strongly recommend using another company for your project. Follow up: Based on their comments to my review, and seeming willingness to help, I asked them to schedule a repair man to come and fix the damage they caused to the garage door, and I received the following comment.. "Im sorry but time for communication was before you wrote a scathing review.." Services: Driveway installation, Concrete sidewalk building

      Gene,We were waiting on your response to our email. I didn’t realize that you either didn’t receive it or you were done with communication. I’m so sorry that you are unhappy with your project. We were willing to continue working with you. Also, we had no indication that your garage door was damaged in the process. We always take care of that for customers when that happens. If you would have let us know we would have been happy to work with you on that. Email that I sent to you on April 16th…Good evening,I can definitely make adjustments to your invoice. Gene told Cliff to go to the end of the house. However, they left one foot so they wouldn’t run into the drain. He didn’t think it was 3’ short. However, I will make adjustments for the 3’ on your invoice. Gene and Cliff had a conversation that he might not remember. They couldn’t take the concrete all the way to the trim. This allows moisture to get under the trim and siding and causes mold and rotting to occur. The sidewalk would have had a hump in it to get closer to the threshold of the door. I’m not understanding the fall and grade of the sidewalk. Maybe you can take a picture of where the 2” of fall is located so he can see what you are talking about. I did want to let you know that the morning of the pour Cliff did drive over at 6:30 in the morning to drive over before the pour because there was a nick in your sprinkler line. Even though we have that we aren’t liable for sprinklers on all of our estimates and general service agreement, he did spend $70 on a kit to repair your line. He knew that once your concrete was poured it would be a much bigger deal to get it repaired. (I can include pictures) He isn’t charging you for the hour of labor or $70 for the repair kit. I will get that 3’ off your invoice. I’m sorry that you are unhappy with your finished product and it’s not what you expected. Cliff takes great pride in his work and cares about taking care of our customers. Thanks,Liz
